Simply put, that is what SALI is about. Bringing together artisans at every skill level to learn from each other, to recreate and rekindle the old world techniques while embracing and refining "new world" artistic expressions.

The Stencil Artisans League, Inc. has a proud history and a brilliant future. Each member brings a new perspective to our organization. SALI's not-for-profit status confirms our mission to preserve and protect the history of stencil arts. Our members also believe in fostering and supporting innovations in products, tools and techniques.

SALI is dedicated to serving its membership base in providing educational opportunities, relevant resources and a strong network of fellow artists. Our members' generosity is shown each year as SALI's membership reaches out to the public through our Philanthropic Project. In addition, hundreds of our members donate personal time, financial support and resources to local and regional charitable causes, including hospitals, foundations and schools throughout the country.
